The Weeknd’s Latest Album: Title, Release Date, and All the Exciting Details You Need to Know
In a surprise move, The Weeknd has officially confirmed the release of his sixth studio album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow“, marking his first new album in three years.
“Hurry Up Tomorrow” serves as the final installment of a trilogy that began with 2020’s “After Hours” and continued with 2022’s “Dawn FM”. The album is scheduled for release on January 24, 2025.
Fans have already gotten a taste of the album through singles like “Dancing in the Flames“, “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti, and “São Paulo” with Anitta. To celebrate the album’s release, The Weeknd will headline a one-night-only performance at Pasadena’s iconic Rose Bowl Stadium on January 25, 2025.
The city of São Paulo has held special significance for The Weeknd this year. In September, he performed at the Estádio Morumbi, surprising fans by bringing out Anitta to perform their collaboration.
This announcement comes on the heels of The Weeknd’s successful “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” in 2022-2023, which drew over 3 million attendees in stadiums worldwide.
