Preemptively addressing the possibility of Ajaero’s detention, the NLC issued a statement after an emergency National Executive Council meeting on Tuesday.

The communique directed all state chapters and affiliates of the NLC to prepare for an indefinite strike, set to begin at midnight, if Ajaero faces any form of incarceration.
