GBAM: Lady D¡es During Buttocks Enlargement Surgery In Lagos

A 36-year-old woman named Abiola tragically passed away during a buttocks enlargement procedure at a clinic in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.

The incident took place on Monday around 3 p.m. after Abiola left her home in Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, and was driven to the clinic for the operation.

The procedure, commonly known as a Brazilian Butt Lift, involves removing fat from other parts of the body and injecting it into the buttocks for a fuller shape.

Upon arrival at the clinic, the owner instructed a nurse to administer an injection to Abiola. However, soon after receiving the injection, Abiola reportedly lost consciousness and started struggling to breathe.

She was quickly taken to a hospital in Lekki Phase 1, but despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead. The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased’s private driver reported it to the Maroko division.

The police have arrested the nurse involved, and the investigation is ongoing. The body has been sent to a public morgue for an autopsy.
