The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially appointed German tactician Bruno Labbadia as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, effective immediately.
The NFF made the announcement early Tuesday morning via a tweet on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, #thenff.

The tweet stated, “The Nigeria Football Federation has reached an agreement with German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, to become the Head Coach of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles.”
Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF’s General Secretary, confirmed that the Executive Committee had approved the recommendation from the Technical and Development sub-committee to bring Labbadia on board.
Labbadia is now the 37th head coach of the Super Eagles, following the resignation of former coach Finidi George.
